I am Candice, but you can call me Candi.
Other than my business, my hubby {Dave} and 2 dogs {Cooper and Sargent} are the loves of my life. If we’re not on the couch snuggling, then we are out enjoying nature or finding treasures at tag sales and flea markets. I LOVE to travel and a tropical climate with a sprawling beach is where my heart is.
My love for floral design actually began with my parents. They helped me find a passion for gardening and my very first job was at a garden center that also had a flower shop. One day despite my lack of experience I was asked to help design in the flower shop. It was then that I realized that I had an eye for design and all things floral became a natural talent for me.
I spent several years honing my craft working throughout Connecticut and haven’t stopped since. The very first wedding that I designed was my sister’s at Tarrywile Mansion over 20 years ago. It was love at first sight for me. I had the opportunity to decorate the Governor’s home for Christmas, learning under AIFD scholars, managing many flower shops, and I even designed several arrangements for 50 Cent’s grandmother at his Connecticut mansion, until the day came that I knew weddings and events were my calling. That is when Candi’s Floral Creations was born, over 15 year’s ago.
